Starting a business in the cannabis industry: ncTakeOff to host conversation for entrepreneurs

Niagara College’s entrepreneurship hub, ncTakeOff, will host a discussion centred on the opportunities and challenges of starting a businesses in Canada’s budding cannabis industry. Open to the public and free of charge, the session will be led by Alex Blumenstein, Co-Founder of Leaf Forward, Canada’s first and leading cannabis business accelerator.

ncTakeoff is Niagara College’s hub for entrepreneurship, hosting entrepreneurial development programs and enabling access to subject experts, mentors, events and funding opportunities. Earlier this year, ncTakeOff hosted a panel discussion on the future of Canada’s cannabis industry, as well as a second roundtable event on Sept. 10, exploring Canada’s recent move to legalize cannabis. ncTakeOff is an On-Campus Entrepreneurship Activities (OCEA) project, funded by Ontario Centres of Excellence and Niagara College.
