The Ontario Paper Thorold Foundation, a strong supporter of Niagara College (NC), has announced a gift of $100,000, the latest in a history of support for student initiatives at the College.

This gift will support the purchase of instructional equipment to help ensure NC graduates have the critical skills they need to meet employer expectations and ever-evolving industry needs.

The 23rd year of the Ontario Wine Awards showed just how dynamic the contemporary Ontario wine industry is across the province – from the large companies to the boutique and garagiste producers. Niagara’s two largest environmental non-profit organizations have joined forces for environmental sustainability. This merger became effective March 1, 2017, after months of negotiation between the Board of Directors of both Greening Niagara and Niagara Sustainability Initiative (NSI). As such, Greening Niagara’s programs will now be offered under the umbrella of NSI. Going forward, the organization will maintain the name “Niagara Sustainability Initiative”.
